About the Platte County Resource Conservation District:
Conservation Districts are authorized pursuant to Wyoming State Statutes §11-16-101 through §11-16-135. The purpose of the Platte County Resource Conservation District is to conserve the soil and water resources of Platte County. Further, they are tasked by the legislature to control and prevent soil erosion and preserve natural resources.
