The Platte County Fair Board is five-person board appointed by the Commissioners. This board is tasked with managing the fair grounds and organizing the annual County Fair. These board members serve a five-year term without compensation. The Platte County Fair Board meets at 6:00 PM on the 2nd Monday of each month. The Platte County Fair will be held the week of July 29th through August 6th, 2022.
The Platte County Fair Grounds are located at 59 Antelope Gap Road, Wheatland, WY 82201. There are a number of facilities at the fair grounds including the 4-H Building, which serves a number of purposes.

The Fair Board's budget is approved by the Board of Platte County Commissioners. They are funded with a portion of the County's mill levy and from revenue generated through fair activities. To see their budget please visit the County Budget web page.
