Use the following format to send mail to an inmate:

Some points to consider when sending mail to an inmate:

  • Inmates are not allowed to receive packages.
  • Inmates are allowed to receive greeting cards.  However, they will not be able to keep in their possession any of the greeting cards that contain circuit boards.
  • There is no limit on the amount of letters an inmate may receive.
  • Inmates are allowed to purchase paper and prepaid envelopes for return correspondence.
  • Do not spray with any perfume or put lip prints on the mail. They will be sent back.
  • All mail sent to inmates is subject to search.


You can also send digital messages to your loved on which is quicker, easier, and cheaper than sending letters through the mail. You can fund your Messaging with your current Inmate Telephone account or if you don’t have an account you can go to www.NCIC.com  and set one up. Messages are $0.25 per Message and Picture Messages are $0.35 per Picture. There is no limit on how many messages and photos can be sent to the inmates and they receive them instantly.
