Dispatch Supervisor Meraina McGuire

Raina was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in September of 2023 by Sheriff Russell. Raina is part of the Sheriff's Command Staff Team. Raina has played a large part in updating our remodeled Dispatch Facility. Raina has been with the Platte County Sheriff's Office since November 2015. During this time, she has worked as a Dispatcher and assisted in various roles during that time. This includes Field Training Officer, E911, and working towards other developmental areas. Since taking this position, Raina has coordinated dispatch services during several large wildland fires. These types of events are extra stressful for dispatch, due to the number of calls coming in on it and the amount of first responders on the scene.
