Commissioner Scholarship
Applications are now being accepted for County Commissioner Scholarships! This is a $1,000 scholarship, which will be paid in two installments: $500 for the Fall 2024 semester and $500 for the Spring 2025 semester. Four scholarship opportunities exist. The Board will award one scholarship to a previous scholarship recipient and three awards to students who have never received the scholarship. To qualify, you must be a Platte County student who is (or will be) attending a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters.
Applications are available here or in the Office of the County Clerk, located in the Platte County Courthouse at 800 9th St, Wheatland.
All applications must be returned to the Platte County Clerk's Office no later than 5:00 PM on May 31st, 2024, to be considered by the Board of Commissioners. These applications can be submitted in person, by mail (PO Box 728, Wheatland), or by emailing pcclerk@plattecountywyoming.com.
