Absentee Voting

Any person registered to vote in the State of Wyoming may choose to vote absentee. Absentee voting takes place for forty (40) days prior to any election. Voters can apply in person, by mail, by e-mail (pcelections@plattecountywyoming.com) or by telephone by furnishing the following information:

  • Name in full
  • Social security number (optional)
  • Date of birth
  • Current Wyoming residence address or if living in another state temporarily, the last residence address and the month and year of leaving temporarily
  • Phone Number
  • Mailing address (to mail the ballot to) if different from physical address
  • The election(s) for which the absentee ballot is requested
  • Political party
  • If not obtained in person by the elector (a close family member such as a spouse, sibling, parent or child may apply on your behalf) the name of the person applying
